Vermont welcomes Fun Pianos! dueling pianos show

This past weekend I was able to enjoy one of the perks of my position. My wife doesn’t get to travel with me much, but when there is a location we haven’t been to very often we try to make it work into the schedule. This past weekend was such a circumstance.

With no shows scheduled near my home, I was able to put myself on our Fun Pianos dueling pianos show in Vermont for the Vermont Credit Unions. We had done this show 6 years ago, and they were kind enough to bring us back this year. Apparently, we may get there even sooner this time around…the event was a hit! [see video]
I’m a workaholic and spent a good deal of time Sunday working on the business, but we did take a few hours out to see some sites in Stowe, Vermont (besides the beautiful Stowe Mountain Lodge, where we stayed). We took in the local farmer’s market, which may have been the best either of us experienced. The cheese selections were plentiful and delicious, and their deserts were tough to not pack on the plane.
We had a late lunch downtown at a not-too-crowded place with a view of the mountains, then headed back to work on work and schoolwork (Jill is finishing up her masters degree).
Four hours of driving and three flights made for a long day getting home, but it was well worth it for us to have the Vermont adventure, and the company of a great client.
